The new TROY LEE DESIGNS A3 Mips helmet is a high-end mountain bike helmet that sets the standard for enduro helmets.
The A3 features the most advanced version of MIPS technology to protect the brain from rotational impacts. The hardware holding the helmet visor is “smart,” designed to break away in the event of a severe impact and quickly release the visor, allowing the helmet surface to slide across the ground.
The entire structure of the helmet is lined with dual-density EPP and EPS foam to absorb impacts at low and high speeds. The Fidlock magnetic system ensures that the cyclist can easily open and close the helmet with one hand. The A3 helmet introduces the Sweat Glide system, which is designed to keep sweat away from the cyclist's glasses and eyes by diverting and absorbing it with EVA foam, which is replaceable and easy to wash. Its air channels have been increased to 16.
