The A3 features the most advanced version of MIPS technology to protect the brain from rotational impacts. The hardware that holds the helmet visor in place is “smart,” designed to break away in the event of a severe impact and quickly release the visor, thus allowing the surface of the helmet to slide across the ground.
The entire helmet structure is filled with dual-density EPP and EPS foam to absorb low and high-speed impacts. The Fidlock magnetic system ensures that the cyclist can easily open and close the helmet with one hand. The A3 helmet debuts the Sweat Glide system, which is designed to keep sweat away from the rider's glasses and eyes by diverting and absorbing it with an EVA foam that is replaceable and easy to wash. Its air channels have increased to 16.
