In case of updating your e-bike software, first uninstall SpeedBox from the e-bike, update the software, and reinstall SpeedBox.

Basic tuning chip for your e-bike with a Shimano motor.

SpeedBox 1.0 allows you to remove the speed limit of your bike. With the chip, your display will show real speed up to 22 km/h; after that, the speed indicator becomes fixed and shows the same value even at higher speeds.

How does SpeedBox 1.0 work?

If there are no lights on your bike, the SpeedBox 1.0 for Shimano will always remain activated. If lights are installed, you can turn the tuning chip on whenever you want. You can activate the SpeedBox 1.0 chip on your e-bike's control panel. When the lights are off, SpeedBox is activated. You can simply turn off the chip function by turning on the lights.

Installation

To connect the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike, we use color-coded connectors equipped with a key for a proper connection, making the chip truly easy to install. You can download the instructions or watch videos that will guide you in installing SpeedBox. Removing the chip is just as easy as installing it. If you have any connection problems, do not hesitate to contact us.

If you want to use SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, you must ride the bike for at least 1 kilometer first.
