The Kenda Havok Pro EMC Tubeless Ready tire combines high air volume, an increased contact patch, and a versatile design to achieve excellent ride quality with the performance of an aggressive tire design. The low-profile center knobs roll easily on trails, while the transition and shoulder knobs do their work in any condition. Kenda's Dual Tread Compound (DTC) uses a harder, fast-rolling rubber (60sA) in the center of the tread, and a softer rubber compound (50sA) on the sides for lateral traction. This dual compound allows for an optimal, versatile compromise between speed and off-road grip. This compound is typically found on cross-country, all-mountain, and cyclocross tires. EMC is the first tire casing on the market specifically designed to meet the demands of electric mountain bikes. Thanks to a reinforced fabric layer and an additional puncture protection layer, all tires with EMC casing are more durable and offer more control and grip than any other MTB tire.
