The SpeedBox 2.0 chip deactivates the e-bike's speed limiter. After installing the chip, you will be able to view real values such as maximum speed, average speed, daily mileage, and range. With this chip, the motor's electric assistance turns off when reaching a speed of 50 km/h.
How does SpeedBox 2.0 work?
You can activate the SpeedBox 2.0 chip on the e-bike display. After pressing the LIGHT button, the display will briefly show 5.0 km/h, and from that moment on, you can ride at 50 km/h.
To turn the chip off, press the LIGHT button again. The display shows 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the 25 km/h speed limit is turned back on. The e-bike will work as it did before the chip was installed.
We are also prepared for e-bikes that do not have a classic control panel with the Walk button. If you want to control your SpeedBox and lights separately, use the arrow combination ↑↓↑↓, and the SpeedBox will be activated. You can easily deactivate the SpeedBox in the same way. By pressing the arrows in this order, you can activate and deactivate the SpeedBox at any time, independently of the light control.
Installation
To connect the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike, we use color-coded connectors equipped with a key for proper connection, making the chip truly easy to install. You can download the instructions or watch videos that will guide you through installing the SpeedBox. Removing the chip is just as easy as installing it. If you have any connection problems, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you want to use a SpeedBox on a new e-bike, you must first ride at least 1 kilometer on the bike.
