The new SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning offers a unique connection between the e-bike and your mobile phone. The chip is optimized down to the last detail to provide performance and maximum riding pleasure. The chip disables the e-bike speed limiter, allowing you to enjoy riding at an unlimited speed. With the SpeedBox app, you can track and record all your ride parameters on your phone's screen. Anytime, anywhere.

How does SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning work?

Our latest chip is easy to use. You can activate it via the mobile app or on your e-bike's display. After briefly activating the WALK function, the display will briefly show 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph), and from that moment on, you can ride at an unlimited speed.

To turn the chip off, re-activate the WALK function. The display shows 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the 25 km/h speed limit will be re-enabled. The e-bike will function just as it did before the chip was installed.

We are also prepared for e-bikes that do not have a classic control panel with the WALK function. In this case, simply use the button combination + - + - and SpeedBox will be activated. It can be deactivated the same way.

When you open the SpeedBox app for the first time, you will be asked to enter a PIN code that you must set yourself. This PIN code must be used every time you start the SpeedBox app. After saving the PIN code, you will also be asked to set a service password, which will be useful if you forget the PIN or if you wish to change it.

To set the maximum speed, you can switch between the following modes: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. The current speed limit will then be displayed. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or rotate the wheel 360°. 1.5 km/h on the display corresponds to a 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to 20 km/h, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc. The last displayed limit is saved after five seconds of inactivity.

When using SpeedBox 3.0 with 4th generation Bosch motors (year 2020 and later), the e-bike must remain on after the end of your ride until the display shows a constant 0.0 km/h. During this phase, the display will show the remaining time (in minutes). You can then safely turn off the bike and look forward to your next ride.

SpeedBox App for SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning

The SpeedBox app designed specifically for SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning uses Bluetooth technology to connect your e-bike to your mobile phone. After downloading the app and connecting your phone to the bike, you can view current data and ride parameters on your phone's screen. This makes it possible to save information about all your rides, compare them with friends, and track your own performance. So you can fully enjoy the ride and leave parameter checking for later.

The operation of the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning chip is not dependent on using the SpeedBox App. However, it is a great accessory that gives you a complete overview of your performance.

Download the SpeedBox App to your phone before ordering the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning chip. You will be able to try the demo version, get to know all the features, and at the same time, ensure the app works perfectly on your phone. To connect to the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning chip, your phone must have Bluetooth version 4.0 or higher.

Installation

To connect the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike, we use colored connectors equipped with a key for a proper connection, making the chip truly easy to install. You can download the instructions or watch videos that will guide you through installing SpeedBox. Removing the chip is as easy as installing it. If you have any connection problems, do not hesitate to contact us.

If you want SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, you must ride at least 1 kilometer on the bike first.
