Third-generation smart product with the ability to adjust the speed limit of your Specialized e-bike with a Specialized motor, including SL motors
The SpeedBox 3.0 tuning allows for the arbitrary configuration of electric speed limiters. After installing the tuning, you will be able to view real values such as maximum speed, average speed, daily mileage, and range.
How does SpeedBox 3.0 for Specialized work?
Install the SpeedBox on the e-bike frame under the TCU/TCD. The display will show a maximum assist speed of 50 km/h. You can save the tuning activation by turning the e-bike off and on twice. After that, the chip remains active.
It can be deactivated by gradually changing the modes down three levels and then up three levels. The display will show a maximum assist speed of 25 km/h. The chip deactivation can be saved by turning the e-bike off and on twice.
After that, SpeedBox is inactive.
The maximum assist speed can be changed again by changing the modes from the TURBO mode down three levels and then up three levels (TRAIL - ECO - OFF - ECO - TRAIL - TURBO). The display will show a maximum assist speed of 25 km/h. With each brief activation of the WALK function, you will increase the maximum assist speed by 5 km/h each time. The last set limit is saved after 5 seconds of inactivity. The set limit must be confirmed by turning the e-bike off and on twice.
If you want to check the currently set maximum assist speed, use the button combination + - + -.
