Smooth lube X-Sauce is a lubricant specifically for stanchions and seals, for both suspension forks and dropper posts.
Suspension systems usually work optimally during the first month of use, but afterwards the seal's own lubricant wears off and the suspension's internal oil fails to lubricate the outermost part of the seal and the stanchions, which are also the parts most affected by external dirt. By keeping stanchions and seals lubricated externally and periodically with Smooth lube, our suspension systems will maintain the sensitivity and feel of when they were brand new, while also extending their service life.
It is an inert lubricant, so as not to affect the rubber of the seal itself; with very low surface tension and viscosity, for exceptional penetration; a high evaporation rate, so as not to leave residue that attracts dirt; immiscible with most organic matter; hydrophobic, to repel water; and acts as a non-stick surface protector.
