SpeedBox 3.0 Tuning Chip for Giant

Reliable third-generation tuning chip for your electric bike with a Giant 2017-2022 motor (except for the SyncDrive Pro motor with RideControl Go).

SpeedBox 3.0 tuning allows for arbitrary configuration of electric speed limiters. After installing the tuning, you will be able to view real values such as maximum speed, average speed, daily mileage, and range.

How does SpeedBox 3.0 work?

You can activate the SpeedBox 3.0 chip on your e-bike display. After pressing the WALK button, the display will briefly show 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph), and from that moment on, you are no longer limited. You can ride at: 40 km/h, 50 km/h, or even over 60 km/h.

To turn off the tuning, press the WALK button again. The display shows 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the 25 km/h speed limit will be turned back on. The e-bike will function as it did before the tuning was installed.

We are also prepared for e-bikes that do not have a classic control panel with a Walk button. In this case, simply use the + - + - button combination, and SpeedBox will be activated. It can be deactivated the same way.

To set the maximum speed, you can switch between the following modes: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. The current speed limit will then be displayed. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or rotate the rear wheel 360°. A value of 1.5 km/h on the display corresponds to a 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to a 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc. The last displayed limit is saved after five seconds of inactivity.

Installation

To connect the SpeedBox to an e-bike, we use colored connectors equipped with a key for a proper connection, making the product very easy to install. You can download the instructions or watch videos that will guide you through installing SpeedBox. Removing the product is just as easy as installing it. If you have any connection issues, do not hesitate to contact us.

If you want a SpeedBox for a new bike, you must ride the bike for at least 1 kilometer first.
