Easton's new AX series handlebar line caters to the needs of the growing gravel and adventure segment. Building on the successful and acclaimed MCD line and the EA70 handlebar, the EC70 AX uses the same top shape and reach, as well as ergonomic drop shaping, increasing the flare in the drops from 4 degrees to 16 degrees. The wider stance in the drops provides more control on rough terrain. Why 16 degrees? Based on extensive testing and rider feedback, we determined that 16 degrees was the perfect balance for a handlebar that still allows for efficient access and use of the shifters and brakes, both in the hoods and the drops.
