Easton's new AX series handlebar lineup addresses the needs of the growing adventure and gravel segment. Building on the successful and acclaimed MCD line and the EA70 handlebar, the EC70 AX uses the same top shape and reach as well as the ergonomic drop shape, increasing the flare in the drops from 4 degrees up to 16 degrees. The wider stance in the drops provides more control on rough terrain. Why 16 degrees? Based on extensive testing and rider feedback, we determined that 16 degrees was the perfect balance for a handlebar that still allows efficient access and use of the shifters and brakes both on the hoods and in the drops.
