SpeedBox 3.0 for Brose
Intelligent third-generation product with the option to adjust the speed limit of your e-bike.
SpeedBox 3.0 tuning allows you to select your own speed limit. After installing the tuning kit, you will be able to view real values such as maximum speed, average speed, daily mileage, and range.
How does SpeedBox 3.0 work?
You can activate the SpeedBox 3.0 on the e-bike display.After briefly activating the WALK function, the display will briefly show 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph), and from that moment on, you will be able to ride at an unlimited speed.
To deactivate the tuning function, reactivate the WALK function. The display will show 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the 25 km/h speed limit will be turned back on. The e-bike will function as it did before the chip was installed.
We are also prepared for e-bikes that do not have a classic control panel with the WALK function. In this case, simply use the + - + - button combination to activate SpeedBox. It can be deactivated in the same way.
To set the maximum speed, you can switch between the following modes: TURBO - TRAIL - ECO - OFF - ECO - TRAIL - TURBO. The current speed limit will then be displayed. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK function or rotate the wheel 360°. A value of 1.5 km/h on the display corresponds to a 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to a 20 km/h limit, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc. The last limit displayed is saved after five seconds of inactivity.
Installation
To connect the SpeedBox to an e-bike, we use colored connectors equipped with a key for proper connection, making the product very easy to install. You can download instructions or watch videos that will guide you through installing SpeedBox. Removing the product is just as easy as installing it. If you have any connection problems, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you want to use SpeedBox on a new bike, you must first ride the bike for at least 1 kilometer.
