SpeedBox 3.1 for Giant (RideControl Go)
Reliable third-generation tuning chip for your electric bike with the 2022 Giant Syncdrive Pro motor and RideControl Go.
The SpeedBox 3.1 chip removes the speed limit of the electric bike. After installing the chip, you will be able to view real values such as maximum speed, average speed, daily mileage, and range.
How does SpeedBox 3.1 work?
You can activate the SpeedBox 3.1 chip on the electric bike's control unit. After pressing the WALK button, the display will briefly show 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph), and from that moment on, you are no longer limited. You can ride at: 40 km/h, 50 km/h, or even 60 km/h.
To turn the chip off, press the WALK button again. The display will show 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph), and the 25 km/h speed limit will be re-enabled. The electric bike will function as it did before the chip was installed.
We are also prepared for electric bikes that do not have a classic control panel with a Walk button. In this case, simply use the button combination + - + - to activate SpeedBox. It can be deactivated in the same way.
To set the maximum speed, you can switch modes three levels down and then three levels up. The current speed limit will then be displayed. To change the maximum speed, briefly press the WALK button or rotate the wheel 360°. A display of 1.5 km/h corresponds to a 15 km/h limit, 2.0 corresponds to 20 km/h, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 9.9 corresponds to 99 km/h, etc. The last limit displayed is saved after five seconds of inactivity.
Installation
To connect the SpeedBox chip to an electric bike, we use colored connectors equipped with a key for proper connection, making the chip very easy to install. You can download the instructions or watch videos that will guide you through the SpeedBox installation. Removing the chip is just as easy as installing it. If you have any connection problems, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you want to use SpeedBox on a new bike, you must first ride at least 1 kilometer on it.
